A combined Mountian Biking, snowshoeing, XC ski and horse trail. This trail has a little bit of everything, the marquee of the park is the great single tracks that are only about 5 miles from the city of Wausau. The trail costs $4.00 to ride and $20.00 for an annual pass, but it is well worth it. Maps are available at the entrance and throughout the park. Single tracks 5,6,7,8 and 9 are fun blasts through the woods, (think of the speeder bike chase in Return of the Jedi) and trail "D" takes you to single tracks 12 and 11 which are more technical romps up about 100' of elevation. From the end of 11 take a left then a right to trail "P" and "L" which are wide trails which wind up and down the side of a hill for a pretty good cardio challenge. These are the trails that I usually ride, but there is a lot more of the park to explore including some technical single tracks on the east side of Red Bud Road, which I've ridden but not extensively.
From Wausau South on US Hwy 39 (Formerly 51) to C.T.H. N (Exit 188), then West 3.5 miles on HWY N, left on Red Bud Road, then 1-1/2 miles South the parking lot is marked with a sign and will be to your right.
